Paris Defence
[edit | edit source]4... Bg4
[edit | edit source]The White knight is somewhat pinned, however allows for the Legal Trap if White 'sacrifices' their queen with 5. Nxe5.
More sound, however, is first playing 5. h3. If Black mistakenly tries to maintain their pin with 5...Bh5, White can freely attempt Legal's Trap with 6. Nxe5! without worry of being down on material if Black captures their knight.
