Queen's Bongcloud
[edit | edit source]2. Kd2?
[edit | edit source]2. Kd2? is thought to be the worst following move to 1. d4 d5 with the exception of 2. Bh6?? The problems with 2. Kd2? are that the King move prevents castling to protect the King, endangers the King, and ignores development. Like the normal Bongcloud Attack, this move may be played to gain a psychological advantage, or as a handicap.
